Gray’s Beach (Bass Hole), Yarmouth Port
Great, quiet little beach on the North side of the Cape on Cape Cod Bay and adjacent to the mouth of Chase Garden Creek. Perfect place to take the kids to explore tidal pools. Ideal for kayaking. You can walk out into the Bay forever when the tide’s out. Lovely long boardwalk over the marsh and gorgeous views with sunsets made for postcards. Picnic area (groups need reservations), pavillion, Free parking, seasonal rest rooms.

Parker’s River Beach, South Yarmouth
Located on Nantucket Sound, this small beach not far from Parker’s River is perfect for families with kids. The water is shallower than some of the surrounding beaches so kids can splash and have fun in the water. There’s a children’s playground with swings and a set of stairs down to the beach. Gazebo, concrete walk on seawall, parking (fee during summer), snack bar, showers, rest rooms (all seasonal) and Summer Music Series.
South Shore Drive, South Yarmouth
Smuggler’s beach, South yarmouth
Salt water beach located on Nantucket Sound which offers warmer water and smaller wave action than ocean beaches. The name recalls the rum runners who used to bring in illicit liquor during Prohibition and quickly depart. Large parking area (fee during summer), fishing deck, boat ramp, boat trailer parking ($). Lifeguards, snack bar, rest rooms (all seasonal) and a Summer Movie Series. (Handicap accessible).

SEAGull Beach, West Yarmouth
Yarmouth’s largest salt water beach is located on Nantucket Sound, just off the Parker’s River inlet with nice sand, gentle water, and lots of shells. There is an accommodating large parking lot (fee during summer), plus lifeguards, snack bar, showers, and rest rooms all in season.

WINDMILL BEACH, South Yarmouth
This tiny gem of a beach on the Bass River is unique. It’s located at the foot of the historic Judah Baker Windmill (docent-guided tours in season) and almost hidden from view. An exquisite, never-to-be-forgotten setting that can feel like having your very own private beach for viewing the changing scene of boat traffic on the river. A small parking area on street level with a few benches.
