Appearing three times annually, it announces programs, exhibits, lectures, tours and other events that we'll be holding in the course of the year.

It also reviews books, includes features on local history, spotlights interesting people and reports on happenings in our community, events that you won't want to miss.

*Yes, we know how to spell "Beachcomber." Our newsletter title refers instead to the huge, almost 150-year-old Weeping European Beech tree that stands directly behind the Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum at 11 Strawberry Lane in Yarmouth Port. Visitors stare at it in awe and have taken countless photos beneath its massive spread. Come take a look.
