The Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum was the home of not one but two Sea Captains. It's filled with items from the 1700 and 1800s that reveal how people lived at the time, how they carried on everyday life, cooking, entertaining, learning new skills, and how they pursued a living during Cape Cod's colorful past.
This month our "What Is It" Quiz features something just behind the Museum. Do you know what it is?
Find out when you visit the house, as knowledgeable docents take you through its many rooms, explaining about the interesting objects that you see and sharing illuminating stories behind them.
The Museum is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Docent-guided tours 1, 2, and 3PM, Mid-June through Mid-October.
Adult admission $5, FREE to all kids, Yarmouth Residents, and Members of the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth. (P.S. If you're not yet a member, that's okay. Because right now you can take advantage of our Free Membership Offer. Just click on the JOIN button at the top of this page.)
