Active members are vital to HSOY and annual dues are an integral part of our to our ability to preserve, present and promote the history of Yarmouth, including:

  • the annual Winter Lecture Series

  • preservation of the Bangs Hallet House, Cobbler Shop, Kelley Chapel and our ever-growing archives collection

  • our Indigenous Peoples Program, with presentations at our Turtle Shade Arbor and walks on our beautiful Nature Trails.

  • walking tours of historic Yarmouth

We’ll continue to offer special member events, discounts on programs, and share our plans for how we’re celebrating this year’s 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. Watch for these listings on our Events page and they’ll be also spotlighted in our e-newsletters.

If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact our membership committee at membership@hsoy.org, or our administrative office located in the Cobbler Shop at 508-362-3021 (open Tuesdays and Thursdays).

TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU, THANK YOU.

This organization would never have gotten off the ground in 1953 were it not for the generous support of people, organizations and businesses like you who share our commitment to exploring, preserving, and celebrating the history of this exceptional place and those who've lived here. We can't thank you enough.
